They dominated the run in 2007 giving up just 74.1 yards
per game. The addition of Pro Bowl DE Jared Allen and his
15.5 sacks eliminates the one Viking weakness. Their big
run game and conservative pass game helps the defense as
well.
San Diego Chargers
The already stoudt defense added cornerback Antoine Cason
with their first pick. They lead the league in interceptions
and finished 5th in sacks in 2007.
Pittsburgh Steelers
One of the most consistent defenses year after year. They
finished #1 in total yardage, giving up just 266.4 yards
per game and second in total points, giving up just 16.8
points per game.
