Aaron Rodgers - Packers
- The 2005 #1 pick out California only played in two games
in 2007 backing up Brett Farve and only one meaningful one,
which was against the Dallas Cowboys. He went 18 for 26 for
216 yards, 1 touchdown and 0 interceptions. More importantly
the Packers have rebuilt an excellent team around him. Great
young receivers and a very good offensive line and running
back Ryan Grant. The pieces are their for Rodgers to be quality
fantasy quarterback and a very cheap draft price.
Trent Edwards - Bills
- In 2007 he took over for J.P. Losman and played
solid football. He is a very accurate passer, but needs
to expand his deep game and take advantage of WR Lee Evans.
He is likely no better than a back-up in 2008, but you
never know the next Romo or Anderson is going to come
from.
Drew Stanton - Lions
- Pure gambling here. The Lions have great receivers
and Kitna is slowly taking the steps into a veteran back-up
role, though he is probably a year away. The 2007 second-round
draft pick from Michigan could get a shot if Kitna fails
or goes down with injury.
