Montario Hardesty - Browns
- Drafted as a possible replacement for the retired Jamal
Lewis, but injuries will probably prevent him from ever
being a number one back. He could see significant goal line
action and be part of a two-back-attack with Jerome Harrison.
Toby Gerhart - Vikings
- Drafted as insurance for Adrian Peterson (Chester Taylor
moved on to the Bears), but he can also become part of the
offense to spell Peterson, who does get banged up quite
a bit.
Javon Ringer - Titans
Chris Johnson's backup will get more time now that LenDale
White is gone. He is small, but stocky so he could get some
goal line action. He rushed 8 times for 48 yards as a rookie.
Rashard Jennings - Jaguars
Maurice Jones-Drew's backup finished with 202 yards @
5.2 a pop as a rookie. He is a big back he should see some
goal line carries.
