Mike Williams – Seahawks
The former 10th overall pick out of USC in the 2005 draft seemed to be a major bust for the Lions as well as the Raiders and Titans, but he has resurrected his career in Seattle with with former USC coach Pete Carroll and they gave Williams a three-year contract extension.
At 6-5, 235 pounds, Williams is more like a fast tight end over the middle which should give him good reception numbers as well as many end zone looks.
If the Seahawks can get good quarterback play, Williams could see a 80 reception, 1,000 yard 10 touchdowns season in 2011.
Jordy Nelson – Packers
If his 9 catch, 140 yard, touchdown performance is any indication, 2011 should be a breakout season for Jordy Nelson. In addition, Nelson caught another 12 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown in the preceding playoff games.
With the veteran Donald Driver far past his prime, Nelson seems to have beaten out James Jones as Aaron Rodgers second favorite receiver. He fits the mold of a Wes Welker possession-type receiver and could excel in a PPR league.
Both these guys could be PPR gems, thanks!
